Management Accounting: MAC3761
The aim of this module is to provide students with specific skills in financial management, management decision-making and control, and strategy and risk. It emphasizes the integration of these skills with pervasive skills, ethics, professional practice, and other accounting competencies. The module helps students acquire these skills by engaging with advanced management accounting topics, understanding relevant theories, methods, and techniques, and learning how to apply this knowledge in specific contexts. The course covers key topics such as cost accounting, planning and control, decision-making, strategy, risk and sources of finance, and managing and investing funds.
